mostly $5/10 at party.i'm going to vegas/la soon
and put in some brick&mortar sessions.so i'll
be off the i-net awhile.
i haven't picked up the small stakes hold em' by
miller. sure i will at some point.
here's some others.
try
internettexasholdem
by matthew hilger. this a great comprehensive starter book.
there's a forum there as well.
holdem poker by david sklansky--i'm not sure you will
need this one if you have the small stakes book.
after you go through those two move on to:
hold em for advanced players by david sklansky.
theory of poker by david sklansky
tournament poker (forget exact title)by david sklansky
in addition to those, stuff by bob ciaffone like
Middle limit poker, no limit/pot limit is good.
also try Roy Cooke's book.again the exact title
"Real Poker" or Real Hands" or something like that.
a search over at 2+2 will give you more informed
opinions on the latter 2 authors.
you should give the pokerstars interface
a try.tighter players,but sometimes thats
a nice change of pace from the loose goosey
players.
